The struggle for survival is nature’s gift. But a struggle for identity indicates some fundamental contradiction. Pakistan is a country which was born out of hate and deceit and gradually evolved as a cannibalizing society for its own citizens. A society that proposes only to destroy itself.

If one were look into Pakistan’s history, some of the earliest to have called for Nation for Indian Muslims were Syed Ahmad Khan, Mohammad Iqbal, Rehmat Ali and Mohammad Ali Jinnah. All of them were votaries of a Strong India when the British decimated the Mughals and banished the Muslim elite from Governance leading to mass impoverishment and disenfranchisement. The era from 1707 to 1920 was that of wilderness and darkness for these unidentified groups within Nation called India. It was Mahatma Gandhi who provided them with much needed oxygen by mainstreaming a religious cause called Khilafat movement absolutely unrelated to Nation of India

By 1940, they had put themselves together and were able to coin a name of a nation called Pakistan which had Urdu, Persian and Pashto connotations. The origin of the nation`s name was in itself an infringement upon originality. No historical assertion and no cultural bonding existed with the name.

In the 1946 election over 90% of the Muslim populace voted for the Muslim League supporting its demand to create an Islamic state in India by the name of Pakistan, but when Jinnah created Pakistan he left a sizeable population in India and refused to accept them as their own citizens.  Yet a few million managed to make the journey to their promised pure land only to be branded as second grade Urdu speaking Mohajirs. The city of Karachi was systematically underinvested in and discriminated against and left to rot as its capital status was snatched in favor of the Hindko-Punjabi majority city of Islamabad only because of its status as a Mohajir majority city. The plight of the Mohajir community is all the more poignant since Pakistan was enabled financially in its first few years because the mercantile Muslim communities like the Memons, the Khojas and the Ismailis, who were willing to give up their income to fund the infant Pakistan state machinery yet were rewarded with persecution, oppression and exile. Today, most Mohajirs belonging to the Ismaili and Bohra sects of Islam have been exiled out of their adopted homeland and similar fate awaits those of the other communities.

The demand for a utopian search of purity has been such that even the minority sect of Ahmadiyyas have been branded as non-Muslims by a constitutional amendment no less and are lynched upon and expelled from towns and cities for such non-existent crimes as calling their places of worship masjids. The Ismailis are all but apostates in the eyes of the surrounding society and have been systematically reduced to being a minority in their demographic strongholds in Gilgit-Baltistan, which is only marginally better than the fate of the Hazaras and other Shia communities who are being arrested and branded as Kafirs simply for carrying out their Muharram processions and reciting their Ashura prayers.  The Baloch, despite being Sunni, are being oppressed, exiled and murdered for their reasonable demands for autonomy, preservation of cultural identity, and equality in access to natural resources. The list is simply too long if we talk about Pakistan’s other communities.

Despite having a cultural and civilization identity of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro, their academic curriculum could not discover and educate their posterity about their original identity. They rather tried to make them acquainted with Mughal and Afghan Kings. While Turk, Mughals, Arab and Afghans never accepted Pakistani as of their lineage, the Pakistani continue to beg them for their own identity. Pakistanis changed their name, dress, food habits, as well as their social fabric and rejected their folk lore only to find their acceptance as foot soldiers and cannon fodder in the brutal fratricidal war of the Arabian Desert.  Pakistanis were employed as mere laborers in Middle East on a similar social pedestal like their Bangladeshi Muslim counterparts.

The political narrative of Pakistan since inception was built upon an anti-India rhetoric hovering around Kashmir. In order to gain religious legitimacy in the Islamic world, they have upped their ante on the Israel-Palestinian conflict and have successfully brainwashed themselves into believing that any failure of Pakistan is a product of an international conspiracy of the Yahood (Jews) and the Hanood (Hindus). The Middle East’s refusal to acknowledge let alone support the Kashmir bogeyman has eroded this political chicanery.  The abortive attempt of intellectualizing letter “K” in the word Pakistan with Kashmir has eroded the Mohammed Ali Jinnah’s credentials. Citizen are only slowly realizing now the fake narrative of their political masters. A nation that survives on the donation of the Middle East finds no words to defend its political position before an uneducated illiterate citizen today.

With the arrival of Covid-19, oil-dependent economies find themselves in dire straits. The Middle East has forgotten its servile attendant’s needs. Saudi’s demand for returning over $ 6.2 billion has left Pakistan in an existential crisis. A modern nation’s survival depends on two primary pillars: – Food security and energy security. Today Pakistan has slipped below the threshold on both basic parameters.

How long Pakistan will survive as nation on the world map is in the hand of ethnic minorities of Baluchistan, Sindh, Pakhtunistan and Gilgit-Baltistan. It is in the interest of world peace that the incomplete division of Pakistan with Bangladesh be completed among all its ethnic groups under the leadership of UNO to give the matter a peaceful rest.

Hari Singh Nalwa – A Legendary name and A Great Sikh Warrior of late medieval history is one of the most unsung Sikh warriors today. His contribution into defending the North Western frontier and his successful military expedition into remotest region of modern days Afghanistan is unparalleled till this date.

Hari Singh Nalwa was the Commander In chief of Sikh Khalsa Fauj – the Army of Sikh Empire under the leadership of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. He was born in the village of Gujranwala in the Majha region of Punjab in a Sanatani family of Late Shree Gurdial Singh Jee (father) and Late Srimati Dharm Kaur in the Year 1791.  His mission to defend Hindu-Sikh Samaj and expand the Khalsa Empire went unchallenged until his last day when he finally departed for his heavenly abode on 1837.

Hari Singh Nalwa is one of the most ferociously brave and honoured Sikh Warrior of the mother India. To those who have researched and known the war history, he could be one of the bravest warriors ever the world had seen. During a lifetime of innumerable military expeditions, he remained invincible in his martial capacity despite limited state resource and hostile surroundings.

Unfortunately, the life and achievement of Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa Jee is not taught in the School and college curriculum which could have redefined the Sikh Valour and Self-esteem.

Hari Singh Nalwa will be remembered in the history for having established the Khalsa Raj in the region of Kasur, Sialkot, Attock, Multan, Kashmir, Peshawar and Jamrud.  He not only had successful Military expeditions in Peshawar but also ensured the Khalsa Raj expanded into territory as north as into the Khyber Pass.

The generations of today who have not heard and read of inhospitable terrain and treacherous tribal of North Western region should learn and realize that all the so called invincible tribes like Saddozai of Mankera, Pathan forces of Afghanistan, Durranis of Attock, Barakzai of Kabul and Peshwar, Yusafzai tribes of trans-Indus region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Afridi of Khyber were decimated and subjugated under the Commander ship of Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa Jee.

The great military expedition and untold victory of Commander is only comparable to the might of another general Bappa Rawal of Mewar Dynasty in this region. The untold bravery of these two Indian Kings Bappa Rawal and Sardar Hari Singh Jee never forms the part of Indian Academic Curriculum. We will soon bring another short E –book on another great warrior Bappa Rawal soon.

Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa Jee was anointed as Khalsa Governor for the Kashmir Peshwar and Hazara by Maharaja Ranjit Singh, where he minted Nanakshahi Rupee and Govindshahi Rupee Coins in the year 1837 and collected Revenue, which was later confiscated and stopped from circulation by the British East India Company.

Coin issued by Hari Singh minted in Peshawar dated 1837.

1808 Battle of Sialkot 1822 Battle of Mankera

1819 Kashmir becomes part of Khalsa Empire 1836 Panjtaar defeated
1819 Battle of Pakhli  1837 Battle of Jamrud

These are the list of 20 major battle that Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa Jee commandeered and decimated his rival. His era had successfully instilled sense of relief and peace among Hindu Sikh society of North especially in Afghanistan and Kashmir.

Among the earliest of his battles, the Sardar was only 17 years old and had displayed the bravery of his nerve in the ferociously fought battle of Kasur in 1807. The military expedition in the region of Multan to Peshwar from 1818 to 1834 is an untold ravelling story of bravery and unparalleled ferocity. Despite being outnumbered in a ratio of 1: 10 against the enemy, Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa Jee never lost a battle in his lifetime.

The commander was an able administrator who crushed the turbulent enemy with iron fist. His banned Cow Slaughter and imposed heavy penalty up to death to those who disobeyed Religious belief of Sanatan Samaj. The fear of Sardar Nalwa Jee was such that not a whisper against the State command arose from the local unruly tribes until then known for the turbulence and revolt in the valley of Peshawar and Kashmir

Hari Singh Nalwa died fighting a battle with enemy at Jamrud in Afghanistan. He was cremated in the Jamrud Fort built in the Khyber Pass in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Babu Gajju Mall Kapur, a Hindu resident of Peshawar built a memorial of his bravery and sacrifice in the fort in the year 1892.

He was a visionary who built series of Sikh fort in that Trans Indus region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Nowshera, Kabul, Peshawar and Attock and in Kashmir. He built the fortified town of Haripur in 1822 which was the first city of contemporary era with having water distribution system. He built scores of majestic and utility driven constructions like forts, watch towers, gurdwaras, water tanks, temples, towns, sarais in across his administrative region.

A religious man, Nalwa built Gurdwara Panja Sahib in the town of Hassan Abdal, south-west of Haripur and north-west of Rawalpindi in Pakistan to commemorate Guru Nanak’s journey through that region. He had donated the gold required to cover the dome of the Akal Takht within the Harmandir Sahib complex in Amritsar

In 2014, Billionaires Australia considered Sardar Hari Singh Nalwa Jee as to be one of the greatest conquerors in the History of the world. It is misfortune for the passing generation of Sanatan Samaj that such inspiring stories were concealed from the young generation.

In the 20th century, the song Mere Desh Ki Dharti from the 1967 Bollywood film Upkaar eulogises him. Amar Chitra Katha later on published the biography of Hari Singh Nalwa in 1978.  On April 30, 2013 Government of India also released a commemorative postage stamp honouring Hari Singh.

Yet the greatest medieval warrior on the pious land of Bharat is still not remembered by the general masses who have much to learn from his life and much to emulate from him in terms of his personal conduct and character.

Historians are the conscience keeper for any civilization. These historians have played a great role in shaping the narrative for posterity. But Irony, it has power to idolize a villain and demonize a hero even.

The cartel of world`s left historians even made tyrants like Joseph Stalin, Mao-tse-tung and Polpot the three blood sucking demons who killed more citizens of their nation then Hitler and Mussolini put together, as custodians of public rights with human face. A generation of young gullible minds world over are the victims of these fake historians who conspired to cartelize and radicalize universities, publishing houses, NGO and armchair activists for sinister design.

India could not remain unaffected post-independence from such fake historians, who had an agenda to write not history to write. Umpteen nationalist characters were maligned and fake story tellers were drafted to ornate villains. And even worse than worst could have been the story of Tipu Sultan.

A persecutor of Christian and Hindu, plunderer of Church and Temple and a like primitive fanatics who used circumcision, rape, torture and death as instrument of religious conversion was an agent of France, Afghanistan and Turkey in India. He conspired to create an extension of French empire by inviting and fighting alongside to establish a French colony. His nearest colonial cousin could be a traitor Mir Jafar of Bengal who invited British and deceived India.

Had Tipu been successful in his ambition, he certainly would have brought India under French rule in place of British. The role of two traitors Mir Jafar and Tipu Sultan were all alike. One floored for British and another was footman for France/Afghanistan.

Indian fake historians very decisively and discreetly removed the historical facts and conspiracy of Tipu Sultan against the Land of India and Indian interest. It is documents and correspondence preserved and available in other nations that only can reveal the extent of Tipu`s plan to get India enslaved to foreign powers.

There is no secret how Tipu sent his emissary to the court of French King Louis XVI (1788) begging for his mercenary to move and attack India. He appeased him by offering his loyal service and employing his war hero as his military advisors. His frenetic effort to persuade Napoleon to invade India after Egypt (1798) is well documented in the world historical archives. In between, not finding a timely response from France, Tipu conspired with Zaman Shah Durrani the Afghanistan King and Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid (1787) in Turkey to create an Islamic force against Maratha.

Tipu Sultan remains notorious for its religious and sectarian persecution against Syrian Christian, Coorg and Travancore Hindu in Kerala Specially. But few historians like Irfan Habib, Mohibul Hassan overlooked the Tipu alliance with foreign power and his dishonest treatment of contemporary India.

It is such an unpleasant record for our generation, where the victory of Mir Jafar brought British and the loss of Tipu Sultan dispelled France from India. So similar and so demoniac.

The serene and peaceful south India had a history of Valor and resilience of Great Harihar and Bukka who stood tall for its Vijay Nagar Empire. The great nation Builder Rajendra Chola who spread his authority and control far up to Indonesia.

On this pious land a faceless traitor was recreated with a nationalist outlook in the fake historian books. It is before that masses misappropriate this Mir Jafar of South India, record should be set straight.

Ahom Dynasty – A Kingdom- With Divinity.

(1228 AD to 1838 AD)

Who can recapitulate the history of a Kingdom which boasts of uninterrupted administrative and political success without interruption for 600 years and 41 Kings? Yes, Ahom (1228 AD to 1838 AD) dynasty is the longest surviving dynasty of documented India.  Despite this amazing continuity, our modern academia and public intellectuals deceitfully conspired to erase the marvels and contours of such a magnificent and longest surviving dynasty of India.

Besides being a political and administrative grandeur, It is one of the most fascinating stories of cultural and civilizational integration within the diverse groups of India. Until the advent of Abrahamic religions, i.e., Islam and Christianity, Indian society had been extremely peaceful, inclusive and permeable.  India has proved itself to be a great melting point where integration based on the concept of togetherness and collaboration has happened on a scale which is unparalleled in world history.  It is especially relevant in context to Ahom, as Ahom had travelled across the mountains of North east crossed Patkai Mountains and settled in the Brahmaputra Valley carrying a different language and different cultural background. They integrated with local customs, civilization, diverse tribal people and adopted the local language and traditions and integrated with the Sanatan belief system.  Something unheard elsewhere even in the remotest part of the world.

The Ahom (1228 AD to 1838 AD) journey is fascinating as it is another illustrious chapter in the history of India. Glorious moments like Magadha and Ahom were evolving forms of governance that we witnessed but sadly failed to document for our posterity. We will discuss this in our next E-book.

Ahom arrived in India in the pious land of Assam crossing the Patkai Mountains somewhere around the 12th century.  The Ahom were warriors – Indefatigable and insurmountable. In no time they integrated an otherwise scattered and distributed local population under the leadership of Sukaphaa, a Shan prince of Mong Mao and established the great Ahom Dynasty in 1228.

North-eastern India is rugged mountain terrain with a multitude of local tribal populations with huge diversity. And building an empire and governing for 600 years was no ordinary administrative skill. Yet the martial spirit of Ahom was such that it integrated and assimilated themselves for rest of time and governed this mountain terrain for the next 600 years through 41 successive Kings.

Among some of the Governing Skill that Ahoms introduced and followed were as pragmatic as of today`s Scientific society.

  • The tradition was that the King shall be anointed by the concurrence of four Mantris (Appointment committee).
  • In the event of an unsuitable candidate, The Kingdom can run without King even. Yes there were brief periods in the 14th century when No King was anointed and the Kingdom was administered through the Council of Ministers.
  • Beyond appointment, King could even be removed by the Council of Ministers in the passage of an event unacceptable to the kingdom.

This was the administrative acumen unheard of in those medieval days.

Suhungmung (1497–1539) The Hindu Influence on Ahom originated around this time and Hindu God like Indra (Lord of Heaven) got prominence in daily worship. Hereafter the Ahoms kings were titled as Swargadeo`s (Lord of Heaven). A sanctity of divinity was attached to the kingdom.

Sukhaamphaa Khora Rojaa (1552–1603) – Hindu Astrology as a subject of abstract knowledge was recognized. Later the state institutionalized its learning only to augment it to a great future in the course of time.

Pratap Singha (1603–1641) patronized Hinduism and started appointing a Brahmin family as the Kingdom’s diplomats. As many as 13 such examples have been recorded, who were patronized by the state to bring up new such institutional orders.

Jayadhwaj Singha (1648-63) was the first Ahom king who himself accepted the path of Hinduism and spread the religion far and wide among all the tribal world. He went on to mint coins in Sanskrit, Devanagari and Assamese characters.

Defeat of Mughal made umpteen attempts to enter the north east and as many as 17 attempts are recorded where they were summarily defeated and humiliated.  One of the recorded losses was of Governor of West Bengal Mir Jumla who invaded North east in 1659. The Ahom were a class apart. They lured him to follow inside the mountain terrain and finally slaughtered them with their entire Army inside the valley. He was later buried in an area around Assam Meghalaya. Modern Historians deceitfully failed to record the bravery of these Mountain warriors.

Retreat of Portuguese and Dutch naval forces, who anchored in the Bay of Bengal too tried to engage with Ahom in the northeast and met with stiff resistance eventually to retreat.

General Lachit Barphukan

The battle of Saraighat in 1671 between Ahom and Mughal General Ram Singh a disgraced Hindu traitor recorded as one of the most ferociously fought battles in those days. Mughal had a huge army and Ahom were led by their brilliant General Lachit Barphukanm who was an inspiring hero for Assam. Mughal employed treachery, duplicity and deceit to create a favourable situation in the war. The mountain valour had no match. The huge army of Mughals was crushed. Ram Singh ran away to save his life. The humiliated Mughals never returned to the north east thereafter.

In memory of the excellence of General Lachit Barphukan, The best passing out cadet of the National Defence Academy is conferred the Lachit  Borphukan Gold Medal every year.

Lachit Borphukan finally set for heavenly abode in 1672 near Jorhat. His mortal remains now rest in Lachit Maidaan constructed in 1672 by Swargadeo Udayaditya Singha at some 16 KM awat from Jorhat.

King Rudra Singha  (1696-1714) A very popular king who installed a great Temple of Lord Vishnu and Joysagar tank in Sivasagar, the capital of Ahom Kingdom.

Purandhar Singha (1818-19, 1833-38) the legacy of Ahom started to decline due to structural fatigue and natural decadence. The last King Purandhar Singha struggled and fought bravely until the kingdom of Burma conquered Sivsagar and thus the great story of 41 Kings and 600 years wrote its last administrative chapter. Yet the Cultural and Social integration that Ahom brought to North east became the founding pillar of Modern India`s idea of unity and integration amidst diversity.

Legendary Ahom wrote an inexpungible stories of glorious 600 years and 41 king. Modern left historians however deceitfully concealed the valour and might of this dynasty from history books.

No one knows who those seven were waiting to evacuate Nazibullah in Plane at tarmac? And no one knows the role of UNO and what negotiation happened? No one knows why Vijay Nambiar allowed his astute acumen into immediate placid silence? No one knows why no one responded at the UNO to the pleading frenetic call of Nazibullah on the fateful morning of 3 AM on 28th Sep 1992? No one knows why pugnacious Russian choose to stay silent and let his last Comrade be killed?

Once you erase the history, the civilization crumbles. The Journey of Gandhara into Afghanistan is nothing less than like a termite bitten decay of a civilization where grandeur of the past had been forgotten for the worst.

Afghanistan had been the battle ground for Greek, Huns, Mongols, Arab, Sikh, British and Russian. Every invasion was brutal, bloody and shook the belief. The Original Gandhar traces their belief in Hinduism, Buddhism, Zoroastrian, and Sikhism. Emergence of Islamic tradition has been a medieval phenomenon after a fratricidal war of 200 years. When Russian`s ventured into proud Pashtuns territory in 1979, there prevailed a brief romance with non-believer like communist as well.

Who were these non-believers? And why did they enter Afghanistan?

Afghanistan’s brutal history filled with violence, killing and destruction had witnessed communist movement in the year around 1979 Post the decline of King Zahir Shah in 1973. The Russian were invited by Afghani communist to invade and set up a classless non believer society.

It is ironic that communist who obliterated all cultural, historical and traditional society always claimed to be a governing system for the poor and proletarian class. And so it was in Afghanistan. The Communist from Dec-1979 to Feb-1989, virtually created havoc for the local society. Afghanistan was crushed between Taliban supported by Pakistan and Communist supported by Russians. History witnessed one of the fiercely fought bloodiest battles.  Russian withdrew from Afghanistan in 1989, yet continued to supply arms, ammunition and aid to Communist Nazibullah until Dec 1991 until the USSR disintegrated into history.

Between 1989 and 1992, Nazibullah became the face of Communist, and emerged as a ruthless, pitiless and terrible commander. He defeated the Taliban in a couple of battles in 1991 and spared none in consolidating his position. Later on for his murderous venture, one of his trusted cabinet colleagues Wakil called him Butcher of Kabul.

Nazibullah encouraged Dostam, a Tajik commander who was an extended hand of Ahamd Shah Masood against the Taliban. The Taliban were mostly led by Pastun. The failed military frontal adventure of Russians from 1979 to 1989 could also not subdue the motivated Taliban fighter. Finally Russian withdrew in the year Dec-1989 leaving Nazibullah to fend for himself. The friendly Dostam/ Ahmned Shah Masood was providing security cover and stay of Communist at Kabul for exchange of Money. No ideology and tribal brotherhood was left. Anybody could have switched his allegiance to any side at the consideration of money.

The fratricidal war had nearly millions deaths between 1989 and 1992. Almost the entire civil infrastructure and every big building were damaged. War was creeping through all the corners of Kabul.

Disintegration of the USSR in 1991 stopped all aid and assistance. Thereafter governing a resource-less state was near impossible. To fend the country, Nazibullah could arrange some support from central Asian states but finally resigned from the Post of President in April 1992.

The Nazibullah had foreseen the tremor of defector and distrustful allies.  Under extreme duress and insecurity, he contacted the Govt of India through Indian Ambassador Mr Vijay Nambiar for political asylum in India. The then Indian PM Mr Narshimbha Rao though Reluctantly agreed to his proposal and reverted within two days with state consent to his proposal but with a rider that Nazibullah request for asylum should be routed through UN. The camouflaged route of asylum was a veil to display political neutrality of India towards the domestic affair of Afghanistan and avoid direct wrath of Taliban.

In May 1992 Nazibullah finally agreed to leave Afghanistan for India. There was an astute Indian diplomat Vijay Nambiar, who was overseeing the rescue plan of Nazibullah from Kabul. The entire move was kept secret but within the hearing distance of UNO. There was whisper in the invisible and reluctant power structure of Kabul about the delay Nazibullah had made in evacuating himself. Nazibullah had faith in UNO and also in one of warlord commander Dostan, who was in complete control of Kabul with his militia on the instruction of Ahmed Shah Masood. The government installation, strategic location and airport were all under the control of the Dostam militia. Nazibullah was assured of his departure.

In May 1992, an airplane of undisclosed carrier with seven unknown persons on board was arranged by Indian Spy agency and was waiting for Nazibullah at Kabul airport Termac to evacuate him. The fleet of President Nazibullah proceeded within the security ring and crossed every check point managed by Dostam militia through the silent exchange of disguised symbols and consenting gestures. Things appear to be in control. But fate belied this last communist Nazibullah at the airport where for reasons not known to any one till date, Dostom commander refused to acknowledge and to allow permission to evacuate him.

The astute Indian diplomat Vijay Nambiar who later on rose to a great glory in his International diplomacy career with UNO never revealed what transpired.  Uncharacteristic of Afghan tribal tradition, Dostam turned into a foe in no time. Helpless and frustrated Nazibullah personally intervened to impress the commander. He could see a plane ready to evacuate him. Frozen nerve, suppressed anger, controlled shouting and disguised invective were flung across.

What followed after was a shocking revelation. “He was not killed at the airport”. That was the generosity that Dostam commander could maximum extend to him at the airport. Such was the privy message circulated among the diplomacy through the Dostam group of loyal. Nazibullah was sent back. He had now countable supporters left in the fluid power corridor. Sensing trouble, Nazibullah returned to UNO premises instead of his palace. His trusted cabinet colleague, army commander and until reliable warlord Dostam had declared him as Butcher of Kabul.

Nazibullah stayed in exile within the UNO campus for nearly four and half years. Afghanistan was overseen those days by an all-party government under the arrangement made by UNO.

The Taliban were yet to enter the city. The war in the outskirts of Kabul persisted and it was September 1996, Taliban crushed the depleted Government forces to enter the city. The sun has set for Nazibullah. It was morning 3 AM, the Security Guard of the Ex-President abandoned him. Death was beforehand. A frozen cold, shaken and numb Nazibullah made multiple abortive contact with UNO for his safety. But all in vain. A Taliban commander Noor Hakmal had entered the city Kabul and then UNO premises. He was brutal. He caught Nazibullah by his collar and pumped one bullet in his head, dragged his body through the street of Kabul and finally hanged him alongside his brother Shahpur Ahmadzai on 28th Sep 1996 from the traffic pole in front of the same palatial building, which he once occupied as President.

The dead corpse was hanging before the jubilant Taliban crowd. And within that jubilation, another series of new destruction, death, violence and individual grief were lurking before the Afghani Society.

Yes, the last Communist was hanged and had died by then.

Nathram Godse and memory of 15th Nov 1949

Carrying in his hands a copy of the Bhagavad Gita, the map of undivided (Akhand) Bharat and a Saffron flag, he walked to the gallows. It was 15th Nov 1949 at Ambala jail, where Nathu Ram Godse was hanged. Committed to the belief for his motherland, his last wish was to keep his ashes until the day when Indus River is incorporated into independent India. Imagination dry and words fell short in explaining his belief, love and commitment for Akhand Bharat.

As Nathram Godse was approaching the scaffold, he called out “Akhand Bharat” and Narayan Apte his co companion who was hanged alongside completed – “Amar Rahe”.

Since then, “Godse” has remained a symbol of despicable hate, revenge and condemnation. Fury is such that any association or kinship till date is treated with utter disdain. Establishment under free India created intolerance to the extent that no author or organization could gather courage to evaluate and pen words.

Yes, he was proven guilty of killing no other than Gandhi jee, which he had confessed before the court. Without holding any remorse, guilt and grief, Godse in his justification “Why he killed Gandhi” had presented a 150 points statement before the High court of East Punjab, who in turn awarded him death sentence on 21st June 1949.

We had no Supreme Court in India until 26th Jan 1950 and so permission for appeal was placed before Privy Council by family members of Godse. It was a British law body, who in turn denied grant for appeal against the Judgment in British Federal court. Though India had attained freedom but the Judiciary was yet under British system of hierarchy.

Quoting Justice G D Khosla who was involved in the Gandhi murder case trial. “Concluding his book The Murder of the Mahatma, Khosla wrote, “I have no doubt that had the audience of that day been constituted into a jury and entrusted with the task of deciding Godse’s appeal, they would have brought in a verdict of ‘not guilty’ by an overwhelming majority”. But to quote Godse, his life also came to an end simultaneously with the shots fired by him at Gandhiji. And the reasons for the trial done in secrecy and the authorities’ reluctance to reveal before the public Godse’s replays to the charges leveled against him still remain something enigmatic”.

Godse’s justification as worded and read by him were replete with poignant words of merit and piercing sentences exposing the hypocrisy for Gandhiji. Over three Millions of Hindus/ Sikh killings, millions of abduction and rape, arsons, displacement and division of nation had shook his conscience. His arguments had the power to demolish the aura of Mahatma around Gandhi. So the trial was conducted in secrecy and no public scrutiny or revelation was permitted by the Government. Till date, the voices of curiosity about the fate of cross examination and arguments have not been obliged by the system. It is left to the Generation to come to evaluate thoroughly and form an informed opinion about Nathuram Godse.

Course of Justice was not completed for another accused Narayan Apte.

Dr Phadnis an advocate in his reply to Supreme Court in 2000 had submitted that the “Gandhi murder trial has not yet attained legal finality.”

Unlike Nathu Ram Godse, Narayan Apte had not confessed to his crime before the court. Yet he underwent a secretly held trial. Forget for an open court hearing, he was denied an appeal, denied a special leave petition by Privy Council and hanged hurriedly on 15th Nov 1949 without waiting for mere 71 days when the Supreme Court was set to be functional from 26th Jan 1950. The collateral casualty of incomplete justice took away the life of two minor children of Narayan Apte. His son died within a year of his execution and another one year old girl could not survive her childhood.

Indian Judicial system had been approached some time back under article 142 to examine the documents and seal the Justice for Narayan Apte which had failed the mandated legality before hanging a convict.

Today is 15th Nov 2020, a day to peep into history to examine and re-introspect the reason and follies of the worst ever bloodshed of partition that was carried on in Bharat. So many innocent lives were lost. Old kingdom perished and a new king emerged.

Cycle of life and death should never be condemned but judged for its accountability and accomplishment for humanity.

Anarchists have held the country and civilized society for ransom. Three events in the last one years should have shaken the conscience of law makers. But it had not.

a)     Shaheen Bagh Protest in Delhi

b)    Desecration of Temple in AP

c)     Farmer Protest at Delhi Border.

In all three occasions, ordinary rule abiding citizen rights have been trampled and the state apparatus remained a mute spectator. The amazing response came from Judiciary who procrastinated its decision until agitations got abated or were withdrawn on call of nature.

Electronic Media made heroes out of villains. They have made money out through rationalizing, normalizing and instigating the agitation. Selling air time through TRP and advertisement is fraud and that has been legalized in our system.

Who is behind these agitations? Everybody knows. Few frustrated failed and discredited political social leaders added by foreign money and secessionist ideology are running the agitation under the grad of democracy and freedom of speech. Name bashing, threatening, putting women, old and children on front and provocative sloganeering are the common street strategy.

The Police and paramilitary are the first and worst casualty. From Judiciary to media followed by Legislative would abuse and accuse police of either inaction or harsh-action, but would never mandate them to civilize these anarchists. Especially if you read the judgments of the judicial system, you can make out the disconnect between law enforcement agencies and law makers.

There is an electronic Media Panchayat every evening which offers a platform to drawing room anarchists to instigate, provoke and rationalize the agitations. All in the name of freedom of speech and democracy. These speakers would take defense of fundamental rights under the constitution without acknowledging any duties to the constitution.

Anarchist crowds can burn private property, damage government establishments and cause physical/ financial distress to ordinary business establishments. But that is ok. There is no accountability in our law book. Nothing happens to these perpetrators. You cannot even name and shame them.  Law of privacy comes to their rescue. And if you insist upon court can penalize you also. Imagine the indifference and shamelessness of Legislative, judiciary and Electronic Media together.

What financial compensation government has paid to Shop-owners whose business has collapsed due to Anti CAA agitation? What compensation Government will offer to Delhi Business entities who have been taken hostage by these so called farmer agitation. And certainly nothing will be discussed. No thought on Justice and symbolic compensation to the desecration of Temple in AP either.

There is no provision of penalty or compensation. Only Lip service.

Why? Because law abiding citizens are not anarchists. It is nothing but incentivizing an anarchist through a veiled process of law. And all three Judiciary, legislature and Media are equally responsible.

Just look at the trend. During the first five year of PM Modi 2014-19. These anti-social elements staged protests through award Wapsi and insulting the constitutional establishment. In the second term of 2019-24 they are on the street desecrating Hindu temples with impunity, blocking business and ordinary citizen life.

What next? The third term of PM Modi would see street armed protest if the State and Judiciary remain mute spectators like this. The embolden anarchists are testing the nerve and patience.  Some of the Media and NGO are sold in the hands of their foreign wealthy masters.  Every evening they would rationalize the illegality.

Anyone is there to regulate or control them? Impossible! They are holy cows. Do not touch them.

India is the largest and the oldest democracy in the World. Anarchist sole goal is to see this statement turn wrong by dismantling the system and Balkanizing the country.

If Judiciary and Political leadership still remains mute spectator and does not take retributive action against those operating against the interest of the State, generations to come will not forgive them.

Debating, improvising the constitutional provisions and amending the inadequacies have been the essence of our constitution. And credit must go to our vibrant social society who had been continuously on forefront to raise any direct or deemed impropriety.

Article 30 of Constitution is one such area which is incomplete as well as practically undefined within the essence of constitutional propriety.

ARTICLE 30:  It says,

Right of minorities to establish and administer educational institutions in the country.

(1) All minorities (religion or language) shall have the right to administer and establish educational institutions of their choice in the country.

(1A) while making any law providing for the compulsory acquisition of any property of an educational institution established and administered by a minority, the State shall ensure that the amount fixed for the acquisition of such property under such law would not restrict or abrogate the right guaranteed to them.

(2) The State shall not discriminate against any educational institution managed by a minority in granting aid.

Who is Minority in India? The term ‘minority’ was neither clarified in the Indian constitution not has been critically examined in last 70 years. It is much later through a Gazette of India of 27 January 2014, people of Muslim, Sikh, Christian, Buddhist, Parsi, and Jainism have got minority community status in India.

To be honest, any one pursuing the constitution, should have immediately challenged this publication. The entire exercise lacked any scientific study and was in conflict with the principles enshrined in constitution. How can 14% of population of Muslim be equated with less than 2% of Sikh, Jain and Buddhist?

How come Muslim and Christian majority state Like J&K, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Nagaland be guarded under article 30 whereas the actual minority population of Hindu and Buddhist be left unguarded.

In light of Article 14 which guarantee: Right to Equality, this Gazette notification about definition of minority is in complete contradiction to the spirit and words of article 14 itself.

Violation and Gross Misuse of Article 30: Muslim Madrasa and Christian convent have mushroomed in last two decades taking advantage of article 30 and further have been granted substantial aid and assistance under article 30(2).

But question is: – Could these Madrasa and Convent be able to mainstream the student undergoing education there? Does Government have any control on the curriculum and content of book under Study? And most important, can Government control the appointment and superintendent quality of the appointment? Does there exist any regulation?

The answer is pathetic, worrisome. Some small steps to regularize and control these institution have been taken by few government like UP, WB and Assam and the same had been found to be extremely inadequate. The student who would spent nearly decades of formative age at these institution and away from overall integration would be a challenge for tomorrow`s mainstreamed world.

On top of that, the biggest injustice had been heaped upon the Hindu society, as they have been denied any Government support and assistance to run and promote their own cultural and civilizational values. Today Gurukul does not exist. The knowledge of Vedic literature and Sanskrit language is esoteric. While west is learning Ved and Bhagwat Puran Indians are watching them on “you tube”.

It is understandable that the vote bank policy of successive government has eroded the essence and spirit of Article 30 of Indian constitution. The constitution had no disrespect for any language religion and race. Yet our executive order and prejudice had played havoc with the constitutional propriety.

Today a country of 80% of Hindu population have no authority to demand their cultural and civilizational upbringing from Government and that is only due to Article 30.

So, it is time to say either abrogate the article 30 or expand the scope of this article 30 to include all religion all race and all language. Why should and how long Hindu should be denied the right they deserve?

An effective mechanism be introduced to mainstream the education. And belief should be left to be only a private Affair.

In service to nation, a jail sentence of 5o Years (Two life term), 11 years in Kalapani at Andaman followed by 17 years at Ratnagiri jail that is total 27 years of Jail imprisonment can embarrass anyone having lofty claim and pompous sobriquet like Bapu, Chacha, Qaida e Azam.

While Alive or Dead, the aura of Veer Savarkar i.e Vinayak Damodar Savarkar has caused heartburn and jealousy to every self-proclaimed pseudo nationalist and communist. The Sacrifice and offerings to the nation had been cause of fear for British, insecurity for Nehru Gandhi and heartburn for Jinnah followers. A generation of government sponsored fake historians, sold intellectuals and self-hating propagandist adulterated complete two generations by parroting insidious and fake stories on Veer Savarkar.

Every political leader had fear of being marginalized if the sacrifice of Savarkar would have reached to the masses. Hence Savarkar was conspired to be isolated and defamed.  Not that Savarkar alone was the victim but Ambedkar and Subhash Bose were no less victims of such historical conspiracies.

Veer Savarkar born on 28 May 1883, had a much challenged childhood. Despite that there was fire in him. He is said to have conspired an armed revolt against the Morley-Minto pact in 1909 at the age of 26 and allegedly plotted to assassinate the Collector of Nashik. Veer Savarkar escaped to reach Paris. He was arrested in France where he made another brave bid to escape at Marseille (France), but fighting against the mighty resource and espionage system of British Empire he was apprehended again and shipped to India. He was put on trial with two jail terms of life sentence total amounting to 50 years. He was not declared a political prisoner unlike other leaders. And hence sent to Kalapani at cellular Jail in Andaman Island.

Savarkar was kept in solitary confinement overlooking a gallows room where freedom fighters were hanged daily. No contact from outside world and endless torture physical assault was routine over there. Veer Savarkar was manacled, made to eat rice riddled with worms. Any resistance to this food was brutally responded. A rubber catheter used to be inserted through the nostril through to the gullet into the stomach for force feeding. Many never survived this torture. No medical relief was available. Along with fellow prisoners in groups, he was chained like bullocks, blindfolded and dragged to the oil mills. In a humid condition, grinding mustard seed for endless hours was among the ordinary punishment. Flogging at intermittent hours was normal practice.

In order to ensure that the generation of Indian be kept in dark about the inhumane life condition and torture at Kalapani Andaman, brutal history has been erased from the subject curriculum in India.

World had never heard of such mass torture. Nearly 80,000 prisoners lost their life in Andaman in a few years of stay. Veer Savarkar was among very few who undertook such a barbaric torture for over one decade.

And Shameless intellectuals, historians and the then leader like Gandhi and Nehru never acknowledged such sacrifice. Never uttered or condemned British Raj just out of fear and favor. In the corner of a paragraph of a text book a mere passing remark was made and felt enough has been said against British Raj.

Veer Savarkar spent 11 long precious years in solitary confinement at Andaman.  He underwent the severest of cruelty, physical torture and horrible suffering that no mortal humanity could have withstood.

Yet, He was not physically or morally or intellectually down, broken or eliminated.

The contribution of Veer Savarkar in molding Hindu Psyche, Hindutwa and Indian nationalism would have been an oblivious past, had he not made a tactical move in line with Lord Shiva jee daring vision. Chatrpati Shivaji planned his escape meticulously at Agra from the Mughal. What Chatrapati Shiva Jee did to Mughal after his deceptive escape from Agra fort is history today. Chatrapati Shivaji in years ahead was able to decimate Mugal from Marathawada. Maratha went on to defeat Mughal in Delhi and appointed Alam Shah a Mughal king as his Subedar in 1757. Maratha sprinted and speared through Afghan territory Subjugating Peshwar in the year 1758 and hoisted the Bhagwa flag in Peshwar. Veer Savarkar followed Chatrapati Shiva jee in true sense.

After 11 years of Kalapani, Veer Savarkar was shifted to Ratnagiri jail on condition of dissociating from any political activity. Yet Veer Savarkar managed his engagement behind the veil of social and cultural activity. His ideological leadership and organizing ability even from prison was a matter of heartburn for communist and historians. He urgently felt the need to mobilize, organize and make aware the Hindu Society.

Numerous False hood and trivial ridicule had been spread by Fake Historians about Veer Savarkar. Multiple petitions for relief from Kalapani makes headlines even these days to belittle the sacrifice of Veer Savarkar especially by Communist historians. These were the same group of British agents who stood behind the Raj, conspired to balkanize India, Supported appeasement policy and supported China in 1962. What Veer Savarkar did was a simple legal exercise for remission available under the rules in those days.

After completing his 27 years in Prison Veer Savarkar became the president of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’ in 1937. He was an ideologue an intellectual harbinger for RSS. RSS incorporated his vision on nationalism as mentioned in his book “Rastra Mimansa” in its first systematic statement in 1938.

Veer Savarkar was an ideologue and visionary, who stimulated the sleeping conscience of ordinary masses. He had the ability of writing and oratory to stir up his audience. He was creative and could have identified the surreptitious undercurrent of slumbering masse`s conscience.

Veer Savarkar wrote as many as 38 books in English and Marathi and two novels named –Mopilla Rebellion and My Transportation of Life -Poetry and Plays. His most illustrious work which is not taught in any college today is “The Indian war of Independence 1857 and Hindutva: Who is Hindu?

A visionary Savarkar had realized so early and penned his ideas about the unity among Hindu Sikh Buddhist and Jain and renouncement of caste system as well as untouchability. He rejected the divisive schism of Aryan and Dravidian theory and warned the nation of divisive deceit being circulated among the masses by the duo of Max Muller and Macaulay led veiled missionaries.

Veer Savarkar, Baba Ambedkar and Ras Behari Bose were unanimous to Indianize the British police by invoking the youth of Hindu and Sikh to enter and occupy the position.  These revolutionaries had the vision of building a band of armed militia.  For such an outstanding piece of vision, Neta Jee Subhash Chandra offered profuse praise from his broadcast he made from Singapore on 25th August 1944.  His words for Veer Savarkar “gratitude for fearlessly exhorting the youth to enlist in the armed forces.”  Following him another prodigious freedom fighter Rash Behari Bose remarked in this radio broadcast. “I salute you for your sacrifice”.

Similarly too less is known to the generation today that the Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev had great reverence and inspiration from the sacrifice and work of Veer Savarkar.  He ensured that all his associates must read and keep the copy of the book “Life of Barrister Savarkar” written under a pseudo pen name “Chitragupta”. This revelation about Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev was made by none other than his closest associates and freedom fighter Durga Das Khanna much later.

All these words of extreme consolation and admiration were buried under nonsense of prejudice and hatred against Veer Savarkar.

Following independence on 15th august, 1947 and killing of Gandhi jee on 30th Jan 1948, Veer Savarkar name was dragged in conspiracy of murder of Gandhi. The press and political narrative created an ambience against Veer Savarkar. Finally the Court acquitted him of all the charges and later on Kapoor commission 1969 also absolved him of any conspiracy charges as well.

Years ahead, Ageing body and old age disease had impeded Veer Savarkar mobility. He was further restrained by the Government of Independent India from making any Hindu nationalist speech.

Such was the hatred for Veer Savarkar, that never any Government functionaries or any congress leader attended his meeting till Nehru was alive. Once Nehru died in 1964, working Prime Minister Gulzari lal Nanda ordered to pay him the Government monthly pension of freedom fighters. Later Late Prime Minister Indira Gandhi also appreciated and recognized his sacrifice and service to the nation.

After the demise of Yamuna Savarkar the wife of Veer Savarkar in 1963, Savarkar started evaluating his mission of life. He now had realization of his limited physical ability. He felt he had accomplished his life mission for the nation within his ability. He was slowly sinking into spiritual conscience. His love for mortal body was slowly waning. He gradually renounced his medicine, his food and water and gracefully set for heavenly abode on 26th Feb 1966.

True to his atheist belief, He asked his companion not to pursue extended ritual instead only funeral of his mortal remains.  Veer Savarkar led a life of extreme pain, privation and struggle for nation and Hindu Society throughout his life.

***********************

Mohammad Ali Jinnah, who went on to become father of Pakistan, agreed and led the concept of a Separate Pakistan as homeland for Muslim in the year 1940 at their Lahore declaration. Since this date, Jinnah started manipulating every stakeholder. He adopted every deceit shamelessly with British, Congress and people of this land brazenly invoking violence, abduction, rape, killing and mass murder to meet his goal.

Muslim League and Jinnah – Deceit with Ambedkar.

The first to be deceived by the treachery of Jinnah was none other than Baba Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Initially Jinnah approached Ambedkar for his political aspiration. He invited him for a collaboration against the Congress and Hindu mobilization within the nation. The idea was to create a schism in the Hindu society and embolden the cause of Pakistan with the approval of new mobilization.

But he dumped Ambedkar as the earliest sight of later Nationalistic flavor. Bhim Rao Ambedkar in his book titled “Pakistan or the Partition of India” had lucidly written some paragraph exposing the duplicity of Jinnah and Muslim League. If one goes through the books written during the freedom movement, only two freedom fighters Baba BhimRao Ambedkar and Veer Savarkar could understand and anticipate the chicanery of Mohammad Ali Jinnah.

Never could the two leading politician Gandhi and Nehru understood the Jinnah manipulation and that ultimately entailed into over 2 million Hindu Sikh and Muslim Massacre during the course of partition in 1947.

Jogendra nath Mondal – A cheated and humiliated Jinnah Believer.

Another worst victim of Jinnah sinister experiment and political fraud happened with one Jogendra Nath Mondal, a Dalit from East Bengal. In early days Mr Mondal was a close companion of Baba Ambedkar and a savior for the rights of Dalit Hindu in east Bengal. He was recognized for his work among Dalit Hindu for social upliftment by Subhash Chandra bose as well as Sarat Chandra Bose. He fought and won election in 1937 for provincial government defeating congress candidate Saral kumar Dutta.  But disillusioned by the policy of main stream party, he went on to join Muslim league in 1940 and was subsequently awarded with position of minister in Bengal Muslim league government of Suharawardy in 1946.

He was won over by Mohammad Ali Jinnah during partition under promise of a Secular Pakistan and respectful position in administration. Mondal was painted as poster boy, a messiah for Hindu Dalit and was even nominated as first Law minister of Pakistan and a founding leader of Pakistani constituent assembly.

Jogendra nath mondal was manipulated as a bargaining tool in the journey of fulfillment of the dream of Pakistan by Mohammad ali Jinnah. Mondal spent his three year 1947-50 in the then capital of Pakistan in Karachi.

But a disgusted and humiliated Jogendra Nath Mondal finally penned down his resignation letter in 1950 to Liyaqat Ali Khan the Prime Minister of Pakistan and left Pakistan to return to India. He died under extreme remorse and guilt in 1968.

What happened in these three years 47-50 with Jogendra nath Mondal? What made this Secularist and Jinnah believer to take a deplorable death in agony?

His resignation letter should have been the compulsory page for every Indian and Dalit Hindu to read and comprehend the treacherous role of Mohammad Ali Jinnah with Dalit Hindu.

If you just read the verbatim representation of the last paragraph, you trace his grief and agony! “Leaving aside the overall picture of Pakistan and the callous and cruel injustice done to others, my own personal experience is no less sad, bitter and revealing. “

Mandal writes, “To my utter regret it is to be stated that after partition, particularly after the death of Quaid-e-Azam, the Scheduled Castes have not received a fair deal in any matter…I brought to your notice incidents of barbarous atrocities perpetrated by the police on frivolous grounds.”

What incident Mr Mandal was referring to. And a summary of his words are so painful to be reproduced here. He was devastated during his association with Muslim League.

Noakhali riots and Direct Action Day – 16th Aug 1946.

Joginder nath mondal was especially pained at the two events leading to formation of Pakistan. One Noakhali riot and another Direct Action day on 16th Aug 1946 in Bengal. It is however he could never gather courage to denounce the role of Muslim League Suharawardy in his political career.  His one line which explains his anguish was “It resulted in a holocaust”. But such was his affection for Jinnah and Muslim league that he thought better to hold truth for token position in Pakistani parliament.

1950 – Riots against Namasudras in Pakistan:-

In his resignation letter Joginder Mondal cites several riots where Hindu were brazenly persecuted in Pakistan and administration and police actively shielded and instigated the rioters.

In 1949, Riots against Scheduled Caste of Harbinger district and in Gournadi of Barisal district in 1949 were among the few horrendous moments he describes. Property was set ablaze and female members were snatched and distributed among the ring leader of rioters.

Another village called Digharkul near Gopalganj, Kalashira on February 28, 1950, where the local Namasudras were driven out of place. All belongings were looted. Hindu women were subject to mass rape. The ordeal was too painful for him to describe.

At Nachole, Similar incident happened. Tribal Santhal were the target in this area. The rage of rioters was so intense that Santhal left Pakistan (East Bengal) and crossed over to India as a refugee. Here again the womenfolk were subjected to all dishonor, abduction and rape.

As per Jogender Nath Mandal, Police and military offered logistic support to these rioters and planned methods of burning looting killing and raping were orchestrated uniformly across the Pakistan to get rid of Hindu population.

1950 Dacca riots killed nearly 10,000 people

Abhorrent!! Two infamous incidents on railway lines connecting Dacca Narayanganj, and Dacca Chittagong had shaken the belief of Mondal. Hindus were picked up from the train and neighboring villages and killed for continuous nine days in these two routes.

20th February 1950, The Dacca riot was another one event which horrified Jogender Nath Mondal.  Places like Barisal, Kasipur, Madhabpasha and Lakutia were torched and hindus were segregated and heckled to death. At Madhabpasha, the Hindu ran for safety from rioters and took shelter in the landlord’s house where more than 200 females and kids were burnt to death.

At Muladi Bandar Kaibartakhali under P.S. Rajapur and at Babuganj Bazar, local police took charge of rioting, looting and follow up gang of fanatics burnt the hapless Hindu. The females were segregated and distributed among the rioters for their carnal pleasure.

As per Jogender Nath Mondal, Alone in district of Barisal, in a conservative estimate nearly 2,500 Hindus were killed and neighboring Dacca witnessed the death of over 10,000 Hindu. All this pogrom were orchestrated with by active collusion between local Muslim league politician and Muslim office of administration.

Jogender nath mandal despite being a member of parliament and handpicked blue eyed secularist by Mohammad Ali Jinnah was not heard and was asked to be confined to his room while a planned massacre of Hindu continued.

The resignation letter in detail had his narrative filled with his helplessness, anguish, humiliation and grief. A small quote from his resignation letter explaining his disillusionment with himself was like “The lamentation of women and children who had lost their all including near and dear ones melted my hearts. I only asked myself. “What was coming to Pakistan in the name of lslam”,” Mandal questions the very basic idea of creation of Pakistan in his letter.”

Failure of Liaquat –Nehru Pact:-

Jogendar nath mondal was a blind idealist who was obsessed with his power and position post 1940, since his days of joining Muslim league. His idealism arrogated him to approve The Liaquat–Nehru Pact or the Delhi agreement as sacrosanct agreement.

The treaty was signed on April 8, 1950 for the protection of Minority society in respective countries. While Muslim stayed and flourished in India, the Hindu society gradually clenched. In Pakistan the result was abhorrent, over 200 lac Hindu left their homes within one year. Large scale loot, burning of property, abduction of women, rape and murder led to continuous exodus of Hindus from even Hindu majority districts of Dacca, Barisal, Faridpur, Khulna and Jessore.

Social and Professional Boycott of Hindu in Pakistan:-

In a few years’ time, The Secular Jogender Nath Mondal was frightened at the sight of rapid expansion of Islamic education and clout of Ansaar, a group of fanatics in Pakistan. The slogan to “boycott of Hindu lawyers, medical practitioners, shopkeepers, traders and merchants was an assault on livelihood. Hindu teachers were compelled to recite Quran in Schools or expelled on the ground of incompatibility. Police in connivance with Criminals abducted and raped Hindus and especially from amongst weaker Section scheduled caste at will. And no police complaint was ever entertained.

Jogendra nath Mondal narrated series of incident with grief and helplessness where conversion to Islam was left as only choice of survival and for leading a graceful life before the Scheduled caste in specially area around Sindh and Punjab.

Property, Land and Religious rights of Hindu

Temples were desecrated, land and shops were looted at will. The Landed property of rich and decorated Hindu were confiscated by local Muslim league committee and distributed among the refugee and no legal remedy was provided. He cited one example of plunder and seizure of Pinjara Pole as a possession in Karachi. He looked at the suffering of Hindu and especially weaker section Scheduled caste with extreme pain and no solution.

He narrated in his resignation letter his fear for his future in the following words. What he concealed all his life was now a naked truth. “To develop Pakistan as a purely ‘Islamic’ State based on the Shariat and the injunctions and formularies of Islam. I presumed that it would be set up in all essentials after the pattern contemplated in the Muslim League resolution adopted at Lahore on March 23, 1940”.

On his personal Humiliation:-

Jogender nath Mondal had chosen a Muslim majority Pakistan over a secular India only to prove his secular credential and trust in Jinnah`s idea of Islamic Society. But his experience in a few years itself destroyed him. Despite being a member of Cabinet and first law and labour minister of Pakistan, he was not invited for a Government meeting. On occasion he was humiliated for his Hindu belief and identity of Scheduled Caste Hindu.  On one such occasion, he was asked to sit on a stool outside the meeting room away from the Minister.

In 1953 Mondal resigned from the Cabinet and migrated to India. He died in the year 1968 in extreme pain and penitence.

Trusting him, nearly 7 million Scheduled Caste Hindu (Meghwals, Odhs, Valmikis, Kohlis and Bhils) had stayed back in Pakistan. While Jogendernath Mondal realized his blunder he migrated to Indian in 1953. But he left behind his fellow hapless Dalit Hindu follower to face a tormented life daily full of abuse, insult and dystopia in an extremely hostile and repulsive hateful climate.

Never ever any conscious attempt was made to expose the plight of Crook historian, who failed to document anything about the plight of Dalit Hindu. Never was the resignation letter of Jogendra nath Mandal discussed in Indian Parliament. Even Media and writers never did any literary work to create awareness about this humane plight of worst order. And never the elite of Hindu society could realize the pain and suffering of this blunder that happened in 1947 on unfortunate Dalit Hindu.

Why Hindu Dalit should trust Muslim Jinnah?
